Roofing Systems

Thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) is a single-ply roofing membrane that is heat-reflective. This energy efficient roofing system provides exceptional resistance to ultraviolet, ozone and chemical exposure. A well maintained TPO roof can last you 20+ years. TPO is ideal for flat and low-grade roofs.

Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) is a synthetic thermoplastic polymer prepared from vinylchloride. PVC can be compounded into flexible and rigid forms through the use of plasticizers, stabilizers, fillers, and other modifiers; rigid forms are used in pipes; flexible forms are used in the manufacture of sheeting and roof membrane materials.

EPDM is a durable synthetic rubber roofing membrane  (ethylene propylene diene terpolymer). It can be installed either fully adhered, mechanically attached or ballasted, with the seams of the roofing system sealed with liquid adhesives or specially formulated tape.

Metal roof systems are a more affordalbe option for many businesses while still providing the effectiveness and longevity of a quality solution. Metal roofs come in a variety of seams, colors, and thicknesses to offer customized protection for your building.

SBS Modified roofing systems incorporate a synthetic rubber-based technology which yields exceptional flexibility, even in extremely low temperatures. They are available in a variety of thicknesses, in smooth and granule surfaces. SBS membranes may be installed in hot asphalt, cold adhesive or may be heat welded.

Built up roof membranes is referred to by the acronym BUR. These roof systems are commonly known as "tar and gravel" roofs. They are generally composed of alternating layers of bitumen and reinforcing fabrics that create a finished membrane. Surfacings for built up roof systems include aggregate (such as gravel, slag or mineral granules), glass-fiber or mineral surfaced cap sheets, hot asphalt mopped over the entire surface, aluminum coatings or elastomeric coatings.

Roof shingles are a roof covering consisting of individual overlapping elements. Shingles are made of various materials such as wood, slate, flagstone, metal, plastic, and composite materials such as fibre cement and asphalt shingles. Best used for a high slope structure.

Roof Coating Systems are monolithic membranes that are spray applied across your roof, around pipes, hatches, and other equipment found on the roof top to fully seal and waterproof your roof. When sprayed, the coating melts together if you will, so there are no seams, or patches around those hard to seal and reach areas.

The concept of using concrete pavers as roof ballasts, plaza decks and terraces has created new opportunities for otherwise lost spaces. Roofs and decks can now be functional, as well as attractive. These pavers can be installed with pedestals that allow the walking surface to be level while the roof below is sloped for water drainage or they can be laid directly on the roof surface.
